Dune: Part Two
The fact that Dune: Part Two lands toward the top of the films from 2024 should come as no surprise due in large part to its impressive achievements in scope along with some memorable characters and probably engaging story.
Incendies
Adapting Mouawad’s play of the same name, Incendies benefits from a strong nonlinear story that gives each of its three main characters plenty of space to play in the haunting and war-torn world of the film that Villeneuve and Turpin worked hard to create on the screen, warranting it a spot solidly among the greats.
Sicario
With one of the best thriller sequences in film history, strong performances from its leads, award-worthy music and cinematography, and a poignant message about the nature of violence, it is easy to understand how Sicario continues to earn recognition as one of the Greatest Films of All Time.
